About Us
The Thousand Stars Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing holistic education and vocational training to 1000 children from marginalized communities across India. Our mission is to empower underprivileged and special children to lead lives of dignity and self-reliance through education.

Our Schools
Vivekananda Adarsha Vidyalaya
(Sundarbans, West Bengal)
Situated in the tidal regions of the Sundarbans, Vivekananda Adarsha Vidyalaya serves 252 students from nursery to Class VII. Despite the geographical challenges, these students achieve significant academic and personal growth. The school is run by the Smt. Anu Chowdhury Memorial Educational Foundation.
Yashwantrao Chavan Primary and Secondary Ashram School
(Pune, Maharashtra)
Located in Landewadi, Bhosari, Pune, this residential school serves 200 students from SC/ST and VJNT communities, from 1st to 10th grade. Despite limited resources from government grants, the school provides quality education and basic necessities, such as food, clothing, and accommodation.
Zaiba Aapa Institute of Inclusive Education
(Brijbehara, Srinagar)
This day care center caters to differently-abled children, offering services like physiotherapy, speech therapy, and Braille education. The institute is a major initiative of the Humanity Welfare Organization "Helpline". Currently, 85 students with various disabilities are enrolled, benefiting from specialized education and training.
Sagar Shiksha Niketan
(Sodepur, West Bengal)
Run by the Sree Gauranga Gaudiya Mission Sevashram,, this school serves nomadic tribe students, offering them consistent education despite their uprooted lifestyles. The school focuses on providing these students with the stability and resources they need to succeed.
